the queens:
Nyx is our original queen. She is a blue-eyed beauty with seal point coloring and elf ears. She LOVES to wear her sweaters and enjoys bossing everyone else around.
Circe joined the cattery in 2023. She is a black and white bicolor with yellow eyes. She’s a fan of high places and is generally a very curious cat, always out exploring the house.
Luna is a lovely lilac point with elf ears and blue eyes; she was chosen from Nyx’s first litter to remain in our breeding program This little lady is a snuggler and likes to take her clothes off when no one is watching.
our new king:
Nikolai D’Kyat (Niko) came to us from Uzbekistan this year. He is just a baby, but next year he will be our cattery king. He is white with blue eyes and carries the gene for heterochromia (different colored eyes).
While the cats generally have free roam in our home, they do have a dedicated cat room; the short baby gate means easy access for the cats to go in and out, but it’s tall enough to keep the dogs out. It also allows us to close them up safely if we need to do so, for example, when a door to the outside needs to be open for some purpose. The cat room is in a constant state of upgrading – there is now a new cat tree and a 4′ running wheel. This Spring, we will be adding a catio with access through the windows, and hopefully pulling out the carpet.
