We currently have 14 kittens!!
Our kittens are insanely well socialized. There are 5 children of varying ages in our home, as well as 6 dogs (who range in size from 3# to 60#); there are 3 queens and one king in our cattery. While we do have a “cat room”, no one in our home is caged or confined. Each new litter is segregated temporarily to give mom and kittens crucial bonding time, and to allow mom to recover in relative peace, but after the first few weeks, we begin integrating them so that the kittens have more playmates, and they are exposed to cats other than just their mother. Several of the kittens have even been seen nursing off a queen other than the one who birthed them.
The kittens will come to you already vaccinated, spayed or neutered, dewormed and microchipped. While we do STRONGLY recommend that you have them evaluated by your own veterinarian once you take possession, they should not require any medical care until the booster vaccines are due at 1 year. This helps to reduce the stress that rehoming always brings.
You will also be provided with a comprehensive health record, a printed copy of the health guarantee, paperwork to register your kitten with TICA and/or CFA (if you desire), microchip registration paperwork, a couple of toys, a blanket that smells like “home” and some of the food that the kittens have been eating. We feed Royal Canin baby cat and then Royal Canin kitten food; we feed both wet and dry. You are obviously free to choose any food, but we will provide you with some to help with a transition to your preferred brand.
The kittens are also litter trained – we use primarily Dr. Elsey’s and Boxiecat litter (always unscented); we also have Litter Robot litter boxes as well as standard boxes and other automatic boxes so they have been exposed to a variety of “toileting” options and should do well with whatever you choose to use. Should you choose NOT to use a sandy litter like those listed above, it is recommended that you transition the kitten slowly to the new litter to prevent it from choosing to potty elsewhere.
We choose a theme for each litter and give the kittens names that fit into the theme. It’s fun for us and helps with updating their information and pictures. The names are NOT submitted on the registration forms, so they are not locked in, and you are free to give your kitten whatever official or unofficial name tickles your fancy.
Sweet Nyx gave birth to 6 healthy kittens on March 2nd – mother and babies are doing well and we are looking forward to seeing them grow.

Nyx’s daughter, Luna, had her kittens on March 20th! Luna had become a loving and attentive mom to 5 sweet babies and we are excited to have them join the cattery.

Interested in an older cat?
Want to add a Sphynx to your family but unsure about the whole kitten thing? Or perhaps the average kitten is out of your current price range. From time to time we will have retired breeders available; these cats are older but not old – generally 3-4 years of age. They will come to you fully vetted, vaccinated and tested as well as spayed and neutered. They are generally priced significantly less than kittens.
