the queens:
Circe
This little lady joined the cattery in 2023 as a kitten. She is a black and white bicolor with brilliant, sparkling green eyes and standard Sphynx ears. She is a fan of high places and generally a very curious cat, always out exploring the house. Circe is a fabulous mama and produces gorgeous kittens.
We are adding several new queens to the cattery in the next few months – hopefully at least a few of them from current litters who are only weeks old at this point; we will be adding them to the page as the decisions are finalized.
our king:
We will be bringing a new king into the cattery in 2026, likely as a kitten, and will post details on this as soon as we find “the one”.
the cat room:
While the cats generally have free roam in our home, they do have a dedicated cat room where they can scratch, climb and act a fool; they can literally circle the entire room without touching the ground, and often sit high up on the shelves and judge their humans. The baby gate allows them free access while keeping the dogs on the outside. It also allows us to close them up safely if we need to do so, for example, when a door to the outside needs to be open for some purpose.
The cat room is in a constant state of upgrading as they can be fairly destructive with their claws, and they play hard. We’re always looking for new ways to keep them occupied and amused. The cat wheel has needed a new running surface twice already and they continuously pull down the LED lights. Next spring, we hope to add a catio with access through the windows, and hopefully tile on the lower part of the walls to help simplify cleaning. Pictures to come soon!
